When’s the last time you took a look at a tree?
No, I mean really, the last time you seriously
Took a look at the evolution of a single seed
Grown so tall and thick, looking down on you with it’s leaves
The ones you’ve never heard complain
Or caught with an eye as they misbehave
Well, they’ll die trying not to anyway…
The type that have been here before your birth day
And will stand long after you’ve gone to your grave
The ones that almost always wave
Even when you don’t so much as glance their way
When you really take a look at them… You realize they’re kinda great.
They’re too easily overlooked I guess you could say.
