Perfectionist

Sorry, I’m a bit of a perfectionist
I can’t just leave things unfinished
Or do things half *ahem*
I’ll give my all until I’m finished
Or die trying, no regrets
A job done well is well worth it
And obviously it hasn’t killed me yet
In fact, I feel very blessed
Undeserved favor comes of this
More often than the opposite
I apologize if you take offense
To my abrupt decisions
And what may come off as arrogance
Sometimes even impoliteness and impatience
Or should I inspire a heart to be jealous
Of whatever I may accomplish
I’ll simply keep trying to be my best.
I’m nothing special, just a perfectionist.
